Derived from the French word ‘clou’ meaning ‘nail’, Clu is as simple and necessary as just that. Started in 2004 by Seung Lee and Jin Lee (no relation), whose friendship ignited when working together in a Korean fashion house, the collection has developed from hand-sewn tees to a full line of tops, skirts, dresses and more. Made from tissue-thin fabric in a palette of warm earthy tones, the pieces are luxurious, yet wearable; just as perfect for layering as they are for lounging around.
